Farrah’s Promise
My Promise to my fellow Carlsbad residents:
- A grass roots campaign which is centered on you, the residents of Carlsbad.
- A well-qualified candidate and council member with twenty years of experience as a small business owner, a sterling record as a community benefactor, and a vast knowledge of the issues facing our city based on my service as the Chair of the Carlsbad’s Planning Commission.
- An ethical and civil campaign, transparent and accessible to every single resident of Carlsbad.
- An open door policy to listen to your concerns, issues, needs, and your vision for the future of Carlsbad. Together we will work hard to achieve them.
- A people’s campaign, fueled by your energy, trust and enthusiasm.
- A candidate and a Council member who is a unifier, a peacemaker not a divider. This is our city and together we’ll work in tandem to unify various forces within our Carlsbad. We will not allow anyone to divide us and create hostility between us.
- A campaign that’s about “all of us,” and not about “them” versus “us.”
- A bright and exciting future for our Carlsbad. This is not a campaign of doom and gloom. Instead of looking backwards, together we will chart an exciting and prosperous future for Carlsbad and for all of us.
As a resident of Carlsbad I share your desire to keep our city pristine, peaceful, and respectful of its heritage. Like you I love our city’s small town feel and I will work hard to protect it. As a business owner I know the terrible economic times we all have endured for the past two years. You and I will work together to keep the delicate balance between keeping Carlsbad’s quaint atmosphere and the need to remain fiscally solvent by increasing Carlsbad’s economic diversity and expanding Carlsbad’s employment base for you and your children.
